Terms of use

Autofiscaliteit is a calculator. It applies the tax rules to the figures you enter and shows the result. It does not know your situation: not your corporate structure, not your existing agreements with the leasing company, not the exceptions that may apply to you.

Do not take a purchase or lease decision on the basis of this tool alone. Put the result to your accountant or tax adviser.

Use is free of charge and there is no paid version. In return, the service is provided “as is”: we promise no uninterrupted availability, no retention period and no support within any set timeframe.

The service may be changed or discontinued. If that happens, we notify registered users in advance by email so you can take your data with you.

The tax parameters follow federal legislation as it stood at the last update, viewable on the parameters page. Legislation changes, sometimes retroactively. For an important decision, always check that the figures used are still current.

The catalogue values and CO₂ figures in the vehicle catalogue are indicative benchmarks that vary by trim and options. For a real decision, use the figures from your own quotation.

• You are responsible for your password and for whom you invite into your company. Anyone you invite sees all vehicles and decisions belonging to your company.
• Only enter data you are entitled to hold. If you enter personal data about employees, that is your choice and your responsibility: it is not needed for the calculation.
• No automated scraping of the site, and no attempts to circumvent the separation between companies.

If you enter data relating to identifiable people, we act in that respect as processor on your instructions. We process that data solely to provide the service to you, do not pass it to any third party other than our hosting providers within the EU, and delete it as soon as you delete your company. This clause serves as a data processing agreement within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. The details are in the privacy policy.

For a free service, our liability is limited to what Belgian law allows. We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of the calculation, nor for consequential loss such as missed savings or additional tax.

What we do not exclude, because the law does not permit it: liability for fraud, wilful misconduct and gross negligence, and for harm to life or health.

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are settled by the competent courts in Belgium.
